The AHPC Rapid Flu Assay is an automated in vitro nucleic acid amplification test for the rapid qualitative detection and differentiation of RNA from Influenza A and Influenza B viruses in human oropharyngeal (throat) swab specimens. It is intended for non-pandemic clinical detection only and should be used alongside clinical observations and epidemiological information to support diagnosis.

Product Overview

This assay is run on the EasyNAT® System and automates the entire workflow — from nucleic acid extraction through amplification and fluorescence-based detection. It provides results in approximately 33 minutes with minimal hands-on time. The enclosed cartridge includes built-in separation layers, magnetic bead-based purification, and real-time fluorescence output for rapid identification of both Flu A and Flu B targets.
